On 30 March 2026, the Knesset (Israeli parliament) approved a law that enables Palestinians to be easily sentenced to death. The law mandates death by hanging as the default sentence for Palestinians convicted in military courts of deadly attacks. It requires executions to be carried out within 90 days and does not guarantee the right to pardon or clemency. ...
